The Pediatric Anesthesiology Foundation (PAF) was founded November 4, 1968 by Dr. M. Digby Leigh, Dr. Edward B. Scott, Dr. George B. Lewis, and Dr. Wayne I. Herbert. The mission of the PAF was to provide ongoing education in the field of pediatric anesthesia. We are the longest running pediatric anesthesia conference in the United States. Over 20 years ago we began honoring each year an influential member of our community with the Digby Leigh Honorary Lectureship. We hope to continue our tradition of education for many years to come.
